"An Astros Cruise would be a hot mess. I'm here for it, but whew." It was an innocuous enough tweet in December of 2021, but an idea gained momentum the moment I hit send. Here we are in 2024, on track to host 275 fans in February of 2025, and planning for a pair of sailings in 2026.
My name is Daniel Meyer and I'm your cruise host aka The Commish. By day I work full time in internal quality assurance for a restaurant company; in my free time I work as a travel agent. The Fan Cruise has also made me a graphic designer, web developer, and cruise host. I guess you could say I wear a lot of hats.
We sailed with 55 passengers on our 2023 sailing and 160 in 2024. Our 2025 Winter sailing is sold out with more than 250 passengers booked. This started as nothing more than a group trip I thought I could handle on my own. It has now grown into a small army that works to ensure you have an amazing cruise experience.
