ON DECEMBER 5, 2024, CARNIVAL INCREASED THE PRICE OF THEIR CHEERS PACKAGE BY $10 PER PERSON, PER DAY

Nobody likes paying more than they have to for anything, but many Carnival guests wait until their cruise gets close before they purchase things like their drink or WiFi packages. Guests (like me) who were waiting to add their drink package are now asking themselves, "Is CHEERS! worth it for me?" Well, we did the math for you.

Carnival's Drink Package is priced at $69.95 per person, per day before standard 18% gratuity. You will pay the gratuity when you purchase the package, just as you would pay the same standard gratuity when you purchase drinks onboard. To compare apples to appes, we used all costs BEFORE gratuity.
